Rex is the only airline that flies direct into Boulia. Travel from Mount Isa on a Tuesday & Friday and from Brisbane via the 'milk run' encompassing Toowoomba, Charleville, Quilpie, Windorah, Birdsville, Bedourie & onto Boulia on a Monday & Thursday. A truly unique experience!
Rex, Qantas and Virgin can all get you as far as Mount Isa Airport if you are travelling out of Townsville, Cairns or Brisbane. It’s a further 320km then via road to Boulia with car rentals available from Budget, Avis , or Hertz.
BY RAIL
The Spirit of the Outback travels twice weekly from Brisbane to Longreach. It’s a further 540km by road to Boulia, with car rentals available from Budget, Avis.
