THE PERFECT ITINERARY!

Birdsville's Big Red Bash to Boulia!

Start your Outback Queensland adventure at The Big Red Bash - the world's most remote music festival, held on the Big Red desert dune near Birdsville!  It ends 8 days before Boulia Camel Races begins.  There's also time to drop in on the Bedourie Camel Races as you make your way north to Boulia!  You'll love their fun pig races too!

Your Itinerary

  1. The Big Red Bash in Birdsville, early July 2019
  2. Bedourie Camel Races, 13 July 2019
  3. Boulia Camel Races, 19-21 July 2018 (camping open from 15 July!)
  4. Winton Camel Races 27 July 2019

And why visit more than one camel race?... It's fantastic fun as you'll get to know the different camels, jockey and trainers, even chatting to them and to watch them compete along the circuit and be part of that annual circuit with them is a truly unique experience!
